Agronegócio garante recursos para defesa sanitária e preços mínimos no orçamento de 2010

O Congresso Nacional aprovou na noite dessa terça, dia 22, o relatório final do Orçamento da União para 2010. Apesar da garantia de recursos para defesa sanitária e preços mínimos, o seguro agrícola ainda preocupa a bancada ruralista.

Depois de muita negociação, os parlamentares fecharam um acordo, que ampliou em 1,6 bilhão os recursos para a garantia de preços mínimos dos produtos agropecuários. No total, serão quase R$ 5,5 bilhões para o programa. Outra conquista foi para a defesa sanitária, que terá R$ 324 milhões, R$ 100 milhões a mais que a proposta anterior.

– Dentro daquilo que se pode prever é razoável. Dá para fazer uma política de garantia de preço mínimo adequada e dá para ter a visão de que o Brasil tem cuidado com a questão da segurança na defesa agropecuária – declarou o deputado federal Odacir Zonta (PP-SC).

O único impasse que não teve solução foi o dinheiro para o seguro agrícola. Segundo a bancada ruralista, o ideal seria R$ 450 milhões, mas o Orçamento geral da União prevê apenas a metade (R$ 238 milhões).

Os deputados já se articulam para pedir crédito extra a partir de março.

– No início, nós temos que garantir a aplicação desses recursos e tão logo eles faltem, e isso deve acontecer no segundo semestre do ano que vem, nós vamos trabalhar para suplementar. Vamos trabalhar ano que vem para que possamos ter esses recursos para o seguro – disse o também deputado federal Luis Carlos Heinze (PP-RS).
