Cajuína recebe certificado de produto orgânico

A Cajuína Sabor Tropical, de São Gonçalo do Amarante (CE), é a a primeira a produzir cajuína com certificado orgânico. Desde 2001, a empresa mantém parceria com a Embrapa Agroindústria Tropical (Fortaleza-CE), Unidade da Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária – Embrapa, vinculada ao Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento. Na terça-feira (26) , a Sabor Tropical recebeu o certificado de produto orgânico conferido pelo IBD Certificações, especialista no desenvolvimento de atividades de inspeção e certificação agropecuária.

Para obter a certificação, a Cajuína Sabor Tropical obteve apoio do Programa de Apoio Tecnológico à Exportação (Progex), por meio da Fundação Núcleo de Tecnologia Industrial do Ceará (Nutec). O processo, que durou dois anos, envolveu mudanças na produção de caju e no processamento da cajuína, com a substituição de produtos não autorizados, como adubos químicos e materiais utilizados na limpeza das instalações da indústria, e a organização da produção segundo os preceitos das Boas Práticas de Fabricação (BPF).

A expectativa do diretor da empresa, Fernando Furlani, é oferecer um produto diferenciado para o mercado mais exigente, além de reposicionar a cajuína no mercado, conferindo preços semelhantes ao de suco integral, já que a cajuína não é adicionada de água ou conservantes. Hoje o produto é encontrado no mercado a preços semelhantes aos do néctar – suco diluído em água, segundo as definições do Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento.

“É uma vitória nossa e da Embrapa que sempre tem dado todo o apoio solicitado. Também é um passo importante para a cajucultura cearense, que disponibiliza para o mercado mais um produto de alta qualidade e valor agregado”, disse Fernando Furlani. Segundo ele, a empresa já firmou contrato de venda para lojas de orgânicos de São Paulo. O próximo passo será a exportação.
