Setur licita a Orla do Rio São Nicolau

A Secretaria do Turismo do Piauí (Setur) licitará, no próximo dia 7 de junho, às 9h, a contratação de empresa para a execução da Avenida Orla do Rio São Nicolau, localizada no município de Santa Cruz dos Milagres

Setur licita a Orla do Rio São Nicolau

A licitação ocorrerá na modalidade Concorrência nº 001/2010, tipo menor preço, sob regime empreitada Global. A cópia do edital pode ser obtida na própria Secretaria do Turismo.

Com a urbanização da Orla do Rio Nicolau, será construída uma avenida dupla de aproximadamente um quilômetro e feita drenagem, pavimentação, iluminação, sinalização e projeto paisagístico. Os recursos a serem utilizados já estão garantidos pelo Ministério do Turismo.

O secretario do Turismo, Sílvio Leite, disse que o desenvolvimento está chegando do litoral ao interior e que o turismo religioso merece ser contemplado. “Essa obra de urbanização vai deixar o município mais bonito e permite que os turistas possam vir a Santa Cruz e ter um local mais adequado e digno”, disse.

Santa Cruz dos Milagres é considerado o único santuário do Piauí e fica a 180 quilômetros da capital Teresina. A região tem um grande potencial para o turismo religioso, sendo considerado o terceiro maior destino religioso do Nordeste e recebe uma média de 150 mil turistas por ano.
