Piauí destaca-se pelas rotas ecoturísticas

Um dos programas de ações da PIEMTUR consiste na divulgação turística do estado com foco na preocupação socioambiental, no cotidiano das pessoas que preservam a natureza e promoção do turismo ecológico, que atualmente, corresponde a maior demanda. “Monitorar a satisfação do turista que escolhe o Piauí como roteiro nos responsabiliza a oferecer estruturação logística para as demandas com a primordial preocupação de preservação ambiental, declarou José do Patrocínio, diretor da PIEMTUR. A integração articulada com as esferas do governo Federal, Estadual e Municipal ajuda a fazer do estado do Piauí, a exemplo o Rota das Emoções um dos destinos mais procurados por brasileiros e estrangeiros. Um dos roteiros consagrados na escolha dos turistas é O Delta do Parnaíba, o único delta em mar aberto das Américas. Quase inexplorado pelo homem, representa uma das maiores riquezas ecológicas do planeta. Apesar de seu litoral, rico em lagoas, igarapés, dunas e manguezais, ter apenas 66 Km de extensão, consegue despertar a atenção pela limpeza das praias e conservação da natureza. Um outro ponto privilegiado para o turismo é a Lagoa de Portinho, em Parnaíba, que destaca-se pela sua água doce, rodeada por enormes dunas de areia branca. O turismo ecológico atrai também investimentos estrangeiros, como é o caso do projeto ecocity, que está orçado em quase R$ 600 milhões de reais e que vai fazer de Parnaíba um dos mais importantes locais para a prática de turismo ecológico do Brasil.
