Piocerá: dada a largada para o maior enduro de regularidade da América Latina

Em 2008, o Piocerá/Cerapió valeu como etapas do Campeonato Brasileiro de Enduro de Regularidade para as motos. Agora, em 2011, o Piocerá volta com força total, valendo pela 1ª e 2ª etapas do Nacional, em disputa as categorias: Master, Sênior, Over 40, Júnior e Novatos. O rally começou neste domingo (23), no Jockey Club do Piauí, em Teresina. O evento terminará no dia 29, em Jericoacoara, no litoral cearense. Competidores de todo o Brasil e até do exterior começam a chegar na cidade para a competição, que abre a temporada off-road no país.

Segundo o diretor Nacional de Enduro da Confederação Brasileira de Motociclismo (CBM), Alfredo Miranda, o Piocerá voltou ao Brasileiro por ser uma prova tecnicamente muito boa, que abrange diversos tipos de terrenos que levam os pilotos ao delírio. Mas o Piocerá é mais que isso e muitos competidores entre bikes, quadriciclos e carros 4 x 4 terão muitas emoções nos dias de aventura pelas trilhas do Piauí, Maranhão e Ceará.

O piloto de quadriciclo Weidner Moreira, da equipe Raposas de Minas, realizou com sua equipe cerca de 2.600km de deslocamento até Teresina, capital do Piauí em busca de emoção. Atual campeão da modalidade no Piocerá, ele está confiante. “Este ano meu número sorteado foi o 304, coincidentemente o mesmo do ano passado, deve ser um sinal de sorte”, afirmou.

A equipe Salinas Palace veio de Belém do Pará, para fazer história, mais ma vez. Quando o evento inseriu a categoria 4x2, há alguns anos atrás, eles não perderam tempo. Acabaram sendo destaque na prova. Carlos Sanches, ex-piloto do 4 x 2 é estreante na categoria Moto Rally, e promete subir ao pódium, “mas quem vai levantar o troféu será o Zequinha, meu filho, que tem 14 anos e veio comigo participar dessa adrenalina”, ressalta Carlos.

Quem está de volta à prova é Dardânio George, depois de participar por seis anos da organização do evento, há cerca de 13 anos, e passar três sem correr, ele aposta na sua experiência como organizador para se dar bem. “Passei três anos sem moto, mas minha experiência como organizador me dá segurança para concluir a prova e obter um bom resultado”, afirma o cearense que correrá na Categoria Master.

O diretor geral do Piocerá, Ehrlich Cordão, afirmou que os dois primeiros dias são os mais importantes, mas que devido às chuvas que vêm caindo, o percurso do primeiro dia pode sofrer alterações.

“Nesta segunda-feira, continuam as vistorias técnicas e médicas. A grande novidade são os briefings separados. As bikes começam às 18h, às 18h30, motos e às 19h, os carros 4x4 e moto rally. Na sequência do evento a Equipe Força e Ação fará um show de manobras radicais sobre motos. A largada promocional acontece logo em seguida com todos os participantes do maio rally de regularidade da América Latina, o Piocerá 2011.
