Governador determina conclusão de obras para iniciar novas rodovias

O governador do Piauí, Wilson Martins, reúne nesta terça-feira (25), no Palácio de Karnak, secretários e diretores de 13 órgãos da Administração Direta e Indireta para definir as metas para os próximos 180 dias. O encontro abrange gestores das áreas ligadas ao Meio Ambiente e Infraestrutura. Uma das decisões já tomadas foi a de suspender o início de obras de novas rodovias até a conclusão das já iniciadas.

Cada gestor tem dez minutos para expor os objetivos de suas pastas para o primeiro semestre de 2011. O primeiro a falar foi o diretor-geral do Departamento de Estradas de Rodagem (DER), Severo Eulálio, seguido do secretário dos Transportes, Avelino Neiva. Os dois expuseram as suas metas relacionadas a programas como o Proinfra I e II e o Pró-Desenvolvimento, nas áreas de rodovias, aeroportos, porto e outras obras de infraestrutura.

O governador fez alguns questionamentos aos expositores, sobretudo em relação ao percentual da obras já executado. Ele determinou a continuidade das rodovias já em andamento e a suspensão daquelas ainda não iniciadas. Wilson Martins também vetou que pistas com asfalto simples, de menor durabilidade, sejam realizadas. Somente será aceita pavimentação com asfalto duplo.

A reunião prossegue neste momento no Salão Azul do Palácio de Karnak, que está lotado. Além do governador, participam da reunião o vice-governador Antonio José de Moraes Souza Filho e o líder do Governo na Assembleia Legislativa, deputado Kleber Eulálio (PMDB). Participam gestores das secretarias do Meio Ambiente, Infraestrutura, Turismo, Transportes, Defesa Civil, Cidades, Fazenda e Planejamento, além de outros 11 órgãos.
