Vigilância Sanitária inicia operação pré-carnaval em Luís Correia

Neste primeiro momento, a equipe realizará inspeções nos bares, buscando verificar as condições de higiene dos ambientes e o cumprimento das normas sobre manipulação de alimentos.

A Diretoria de Vigilância Sanitária do Estado (Divisa) inicia nesta semana a operação pré-Carnaval no litoral do Piauí. Uma equipe de técnicos do órgão chega a Luís Correia nesta terça-feira (8) para apoiar a Vigilância Sanitária Municipal no trabalho de fiscalização e orientação dos donos de estabelecimentos localizados na região.

Neste primeiro momento, a equipe realizará inspeções nos bares, buscando verificar as condições de higiene dos ambientes e o cumprimento das normas sobre manipulação de alimentos. Ao mesmo tempo em que faz esse diagnóstico, a equipe orienta os funcionários dos estabelecimentos, indicando o que deve ser corrigido.

A ação atingirá bares e barracas espalhados pelas principais praias de Luís Correia e que recebem grande fluxo de turistas na época do Carnaval. Além das orlas de Atalaia e Coqueiro, Cajueiro da Praia e Barra Grande também estão no roteiro da fiscalização.

“Além de técnicos nessa área de segurança alimentar, a equipe também conta com técnicos da área de saúde, que irão auxiliar na vistoria hospitalar, identificando as condições dos leitos em Luís Correia”, esclarece Maria do Carmo Mascarenhas, da Gerência de Controle de Serviços e Produtos da Divisa.

O primeiro grupo de técnicos volta a Teresina no fim da semana e uma nova equipe será encaminhada ao município para dar continuidade aos trabalhos. Neste período pré-carnavalesco, a Divisa atua no suporte às Vigilâncias Sanitárias Municipais. “Cada município identifica suas necessidades e solicita o suporte da vigilância estadual em suas operações. Além de vistorias, também realizamos palestras educativas e treinamentos com os manipuladores”, destaca Maria do Carmo.

Outras operações devem acontecer em municípios piauienses no decorrer deste mês.
