Anunciado IV Congresso Brasileiro de Jornalismo Ambiental

IV Congresso Brasileiro de Jornalismo Ambiental será em outubro de 2011

Foi definido para outubro deste ano (2011), na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, o IV Congresso Brasileiro de Jornalismo Ambiental. O evento, antes programado para 2012, foi antecipado pela comissão organizadora para estimular o debate e os preparativos da conferência Rio+20, marcada para o próximo ano, também na capital fluminense.

O Congresso Brasileiro de Jornalismo Ambiental será realizado nos dias 12, 13, 14 e 15 de outubro no Rio de Janeiro. Além de palestras, painéis e exposições, haverá oficinas de formação para estudantes e jovens jornalistas em vários temas da pauta ambiental, como forma de melhor preparar esse público para o exercício do jornalismo ambiental nos próximos anos. Também está previsto a realização de um encontro da REDCALC (Red Latino-Americana de Periodismo Ambiental), que reúne jornalistas que atuam com pautas ambientais e de sustentabilidade em toda a América Latina.

Em breve as entidades realizadoras do Congresso (Rede Brasileira de Jornalismo Ambiental – RBJA, Rede Brasileira de Informação Ambiental – REBIA, Associação Brasileira de Mídias Ambientais – ECOMÍDIAS, e Instituto Envolverde) lançarão uma página na WEB com o banner e informações complementares sobre o evento.

“Desde já, pedimos aos colegas que nos ajudem com a presença, participação, reflexão, e também divulgação, transformando este momento numa oportunidade para que a sociedade possa refletir sobre a importância estratégica da democratização da informação socioambiental na mobilização da sociedade no rumo da mudança para a sustentabilidade”, concluem os organizadores.
