Produtores contratam R$ 10,8 bi para pecuária de corte em 2010

As contratações do crédito rural para a pecuária de corte, em 2010, alcançaram R$ 10,8 bilhões. Do total, R$ 4,8 bilhões foram destinados ao investimento (como aquisição de animais, implantação de pastagens, curral e cerca) e R$ 6 bilhões para custeio (compra de ração, vacina e manutenção de pastagens). O resultado representa crescimento de 40,2%, em relação ao registrado em 2009, de R$ 7,7 bilhões. Os números foram apresentados pela Secretaria de Política Agrícola do Ministério da Agricultura nesta segunda-feira (21/03), na reunião da Câmara Setorial da Cadeia Produtiva de Carne Bovina, em Brasília.

Hoje, existem quatro programas do Ministério da Agricultura voltados aos produtores de pecuária de corte. O de Estímulo à Produção Agropecuária Sustentável (Produsa), que tem limite de R$ 400 mil por beneficiário para os projetos destinados à recuperação de áreas degradadas, com taxa de juros de 5,75% ao ano. O de Modernização da Agricultura e Conservação de Recursos Naturais (Moderagro), com limite de financiamento de R$ 300 mil e juros de 6,75% ao ano; o de Apoio ao Médio Produtor (Pronamp) e o de Agricultura de Baixo Carbono (ABC), que financia a implantação e ampliação de sistemas de integração de agricultura com pecuária ou de integração lavoura-pecuária-florestas.

Propostas

De acordo com o presidente da Câmara Setorial da Cadeia Produtiva da Carne Bovina, Antenor Nogueira, o setor produtivo encaminhará ao governo, nesta semana, algumas sugestões para serem incluídas no Plano Agrícola e Pecuário 2011/2012. Entre elas, a criação de uma linha de financiamento específica para retenção de matrizes – que tem o objetivo de manter as fêmeas no rebanho para produção de bezerros.

“Vamos avaliar as propostas encaminhadas pelo setor produtivo em conjunto com outros órgãos do governo envolvidos no Plano Agrícola e Pecuário. As novas normas passarão a vigorar no dia 1° de julho de 2011”, explica o coordenador-geral para Pecuária e Culturas Permanentes do Ministério da Agricultura, João Antônio Fagundes Salomão.

As exportações de carne bovina, em 2010, alcançaram US$ 4,8 bilhões, contra US$ 4,1 bilhões, em 2009. As vendas representaram crescimento de 16,4% no período. Os principais destinos da carne bovina in natura, em 2010 foram Rússia, com US$ 1 bilhão, Irã, US$ 807,3 milhões e Egito, com US$ 409,9 milhões.
