Soja recua com pressão do clima desfavorável para o milho nos EUA

Ainda encontrando suporte nos números divulgados pelo USDA (Departamento de Agricultura dos Estados Unidos) na última quinta-feira (31), o milho segue registrando fortes altas na Bolsa de Chicago, operando próximo do limite de alta.

Diante da redução dos estoques norte-americanos feita pelo departamento, há ainda previsões de 10 dias de tempo chuvoso em paraticamente todo o cinturão do milho nos EUA. Essas condições climáticas devem prejudicar e atrasar o início dos trabalhos de plantio no país, além de incentivar um aumento da área de soja em relação ao cereal.

De acordo com o Commodity Weather Group, o meio oeste deve receber muita chuva nas próximas duas semanas, cerca de 32mm nos próximos cinco dias.

Paralelamente, os estoques finais de milho devem ser os menores em 15 anos frente a uma demanda crescente, impulsionada pela demanda da produção de etanol, ração e alimentos.

Diante deste cenário para o milho, a soja opera no terreno misto na CBOT. A expectativa de um possível aumento na área da oleaginosa pressiona os preços, que, por volta das 14h (horário de Brasília), operavam com quedas de quase 10 pontos para os principais vencimentos.

Além disso, há rumores também de possíveis cancelamentos de compras feitas pela China. Com isso, o comportamento da nação asiática preocupa e o mercado já reflete com os preços no vermelho.

A entrada da safra da América do Sul também pesa sobre as cotações, acelerando as baixas em Chicago.
