Barra Grande terá Resort

A praia de Barra Grande, no município de Cajueiro da Praia, vai ganhar um grande empreendimento hoteleiro que deve ter suas obras iniciadas até o mês de julho. A informação foi passada ontem (11), durante reunião na Secretaria de Turismo do Piauí, entre os representantes da construtora Estrela da Manhã, responsável pelo empreendimento, o prefeito de Cajueiro da Praia, Girvaldo Albuquerque, o secretário de Turismo do município, Francisco Rocha, o arquiteto Júlio Medeiros e o secretário Sílvio Leite.

Segundo o representante da empresa, André Canuto, o empreendimento contará com 28 chalés, 32 apartamentos para hospedagem, com restaurante, piscina e uma infraestrutura de centro de eventos.“ O Resort Barra Grande vem para atender a demanda crescente do litoral do Piauí, com total investimento privado, e vai gerar cerca de dois mil empregos diretos e indiretos”, explica.

Segundo o secretário de Turismo, Sílvio Leite, serão investidos inicialmente cerca de R$ 15 milhões na primeira etapa da construção e o Estado vai garantir a infraestrutura necessária para que o empreendimento possa atender bem os turistas. “Garantimos ao empresário da Estrela da Manhã que o que cabe ao Estado será feito. Vamos investir no acesso ao empreendimento, na melhoria do abastecimento de água em todo o litoral com a construção da adutora do litoral e vamos buscar também um reforço no fornecimento de energia elétrica”, disse o secretário.

Para o prefeito Girvaldo Albuquerque, a chegada de um resort no município vai movimentar a economia e gerar mais empregos para a comunidade. “Estamos precisando desse empreendimento. Hoje, Barra Grande é uma das praias mais visitadas no Piauí e a maioria dos visitantes vem no exterior. Então, já temos uma boa demanda de visitantes que buscam um conforto maior. Vamos agora investir na qualificação da mão-de-obra local para que a nossa comunidade possa estar apta a disputar vagas nesse grande mercado que é o turismo”, disse o prefeito.
