MPA disponibiliza o Programa Nacional de Controle Higiênico Sanitário de Moluscos Bivalves

O Ministério da Pesca e Aquicultura disponibiliza para Consulta Pública o Programa Nacional de Controle Higiênico Sanitário de Moluscos Bivalves – PNCMB, as sugestões e criticas devem ser enviadas para o MPA até 04 de junho. Desenvolvido pelo Governo Federal o programa estabelece os requisitos mínimos necessários para a garantia da inocuidade e qualidade dos moluscos bivalves destinados ao consumo humano, e monitora e fiscaliza o atendimento destes requisitos.

O Programa surgiu da iniciativa conjunta entre o Ministério da Pesca e Aquicultura e o Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento na prevenção de efeitos nocivos à saúde do consumidor pelo consumo de moluscos bivalves contaminados.

Com a finalidade de estabelecer os requisitos mínimos para a garantia da qualidade higiênico-sanitária, o MPA estabelece critérios para a retirada dos moluscos bivalves do local de cultivo ou extração, baseados na análise de micro-organismos contaminantes e biotoxinas marinhas. Por sua vez, o MAPA estabelece os requisitos de inspeção industrial e sanitária a serem cumpridos pelos estabelecimentos de processamento de moluscos.

Durante a Consulta Pública, a Coordenação Geral de Sanidade Pesqueira do MPA receberá observações, críticas e sugestões relativas ao texto da Instrução Normativa Interministerial. As sugestões, tecnicamente fundamentadas, deverão ser encaminhadas à Coordenação Geral de Sanidade Pesqueira sob o título "Consulta Pública", por meio de: fax no número (61) 2023 3909; ou para o endereço eletrônico sanidade@mpa.gov.br, ou ainda via postal, para o endereço - Ministério da Pesca e Aquicultura - Coordenação Geral de Sanidade Pesqueira, Setor Bancário Sul, Quadra 2, Bloco J, Edifício Carlton Tower, 7º andar, CEP 70070-120 - Brasília – DF.

Após o recebimento das sugestões pela Coordenação Geral de Sanidade Pesqueira, o MPA e o MAPA farão a análise das sugestões, e se necessário as devidas alterações, para que só então seja publicado o texto definitivo da Instrução Normativa Interministerial que instituirá o Programa Nacional de Controle Higiênico Sanitário de Moluscos Bivalves.

Ficam convidados a encaminhar sugestões e críticas todos os profissionais relacionados à cadeia produtiva de moluscos bivalves, as universidades e comunidade científica, as entidades governamentais relacionadas ao tema, entidades privadas, estendendo a todo e qualquer interessado.
