Piauí vai promover a VII Semana dos Alimentos Orgânicos

A VII Semana dos Alimentos Orgânicos acontece na sede do INCRA, em Teresina, nos dias 29 a 05 de junho e visa esclarecer os consumidores sobre as vantagens de consumir os produtos orgânicos e com isso estimular o consumo. O evento faz parte da agenda Nacional que visa estimular, dentre outras ações o consumo dos produtos orgânicos da agricultura familiar.

A campanha visa, entre outras coisas, trabalhar o conceito de consumo responsável, quando o consumidor consciente passa a valorizar aspectos relacionados à saúde humana, ao meio ambiente e a justiça social, na hora de decidir pelos produtos que vai comprar.

A campanha de 2011 destaca a qualidade dos produtos orgânicos e a facilidade de identificá-los no comércio através do Selo ou da Declaração de Cadastro. A Comissão da Produção Orgânica no Piauí – CPOrg-PI preparou ampla divulgação da identidade visual do Selo Oficial para Produtos Orgânicos, bem como atividades que buscam divulgar práticas agrícolas que atendam os princípios agroecológicos relacionados à preservação e conservação da natureza.
