Obras da Usina Eólica Porto do Delta iniciarão em 2011

A empresa Tractebel Energia S.A emitiu na última semana a ordem de início das obras do Parque Eólico Porto do Delta, em Parnaíba. O Governo do Estado atuou de forma imprescindível para a instalação da usina no Piauí que terá capacidade instalada de 30 MW. A Tractebel prevê a construção de cinco usinas eólicas no Nordeste, uma no Piauí e quatro no Ceará - totalizando 145,6 MW de capacidade instalada e investimento de R$ 630 milhões.

Os ventos favoráveis e a sinergia com os parques já em operação de Beberibe, no Ceará, e Pedra do Sal, no Piauí levaram a Tractebel Energia, neste momento, a concentrar seus projetos eólicos no Nordeste, principalmente nestes dois estados.

O presidente da Companhia Administradora da ZPE Parnaíba, Mirocles Veras, foi o intermediador das conversações para a implantação do empreendimento no Piauí. “Parnaíba é uma área propícia a esses investimentos em energia limpa. O governador nos delegou esse trabalho de fazer a ponte entre a empresa e o Estado avaliando, junto à Secretaria da Fazenda, a possibilidade de incentivos fiscais para sua implantação”, explicou.

De acordo com a diretoria da empresa, no momento, estão em andamento os projetos de engenharia e iniciou-se a fabricação dos equipamentos. O início das obras no canteiro está previsto para o último trimestre de 2011 e o início da operação comercial, para dezembro de 2012.

A região de Parnaíba tem um histórico de atividade industrial e com a ZPE Parnaíba esse movimento multiplicará. Mirocles Veras enfatiza que o desenvolvimento desse projeto de geração de energia limpa e renovável é um investimento importante na melhoria da infraestrutura da cidade. “O Parque Eólico Porto do Delta beneficiará a ZPE Parnaíba, além de contribuir para a melhoria na qualidade de vida da população, através dos benefícios sociais, econômicos e de infraestrutura regional”, disse.
