Nesta quarta-feira, 26 de outubro, foram apresentados na 6ª Feira Internacional da Amazônia (Fiam), em Manaus, projetos de soluções energéticas para ser implantado em cidades da Amazônica.

De acordo com o engenheiro, José Carlos Medeiros, a energia fotovoltaica utiliza painéis solares, placas de silício. O projeto piloto será implantado em Parintins, interior do Amazonas. Cada casa deverá ganhar um teto solar. Segundo Medeiros, após testes, o modelo deverá se estendido para outras localidades da Amazônia, inclusive Manaus. “Buscamos projetos que tenham aplicações sustentáveis na Amazônia e para isso, estamos fazendo o projeto que utiliza o sistema fotovoltaico no interior. São localidades difíceis de atender até mesmo levando óleo diesel", disse.

Para o organizador do seminário, Rubem Souza, as soluções energéticas devem ser usadas também para alcançar os mais distantes lugares da Amazônia, comunidades que ainda não possuem energia elétrica.

Segundo pesquisadores em energia renovável, além da energia solar, a região amazônica também possui potencial para a energia hídrica gerada por hidrelétrica, dos rios.

Esta edição do evento espera movimentar aproximadamente US$ 12,5 milhões de dólares. A estimativa é da Superintendência da Zona Franca de Manaus (Suframa). A Feira vai até o próximo dia 29 de outubro, no Studio 5 Centro de Convenções, na Zona Sul de Manaus, é considerado o maior evento multissetorial da região.
