Técnicos da Setur participam de palestra com o PCPR

Os técnicos da Secretaria do Turismo do Piauí (Setur) e do Programa de Desenvolvimento do Turismo (Prodetur) participaram, na última quarta-feira (14), de uma palestra com o diretor financeiro do Programa de Combate à Pobreza Rural (PCPR), José Maria Costa, e com o assessor Alejo Lezundi.

A palestra teve como objetivo contribuir para a integração proativa dos pequenos produtores rurais ao processo de desenvolvimento do Estado, no marco do combate à pobreza rural, através, prioritariamente, da geração de emprego e renda com inclusão social. Os técnicos da Setur e do PCPR discutiram as formas de financiamentos possíveis para que sejam feitos os investimentos nas áreas rurais, analisando os investimentos existentes e quais os critérios para adquirir tais investimentos. Na oportunidade, também foi colocado as explanações sobre o Programa de Regionalização e sobre a importância que investimentos como os que o PCPR faz para que se coloque em prática outra fase deste programa, que é o Plano Estratégico do Turismo, onde aquisições com infraestruturas e qualificações são primordiais para o desenvolvimento e qualificação do produto turístico do Estado.

Segundo a turismóloga da Setur, Anecy Castelo Branco, foi apresentado o exemplo da cidade de Venda Nova do Imigrante, no Espírito Santo, que é atualmente conhecida como a capital do agroturismo e sua economia vive em torno do turismo rural. Foi questionada também a possibilidade deste tipo de segmento tornar-se uma das saídas para o desenvolvimento de alguns municípios piauienses.

Ainda segundo Anecy Branco, o PCPR é de extrema importância para o desenvolvimento do turismo em alguns municípios do Piauí, uma vez que oferece infraestruturas para as localidades. “Partindo do pressuposto que temos potencial e de que, se deu certo em outros lugares, no Piauí é apenas questão de tempo, tendo em vista a parceria com essa coordenadoria (PCPR), Rede Traf, SDR e a Setur”, destaca.
